Leaving Jimin alone wasn't an option. Taehyung was the first one to run after him and all of you followed him soon enough. Of course, another round of argument followed you. Jimin wasn't ready to accept defeat and the others weren't giving in either. In the end, some of them went ahead while you stayed with Jimin at the last line. Taehyung was too Angry so Hoseok went ahead to calm him down. Yoongi went ahead with Jungkook because the poor guy looked so done with everything and of course, Seokjin followed Namjoon. So it was only you and Jimin at the back. He was walking with his head down. Even though you weren't touching him you can feel just how tense he is. Even breathing felt too awkward. Seokjin and Namjoon were mumbling to each other while Taehyung and Hoseok were whisper-yelling. Yoongi and Jungkook weren't interested in any chit chat so it left only you to comfort Jimin. That sounds beyond impossible. You just can't figure out how his goddamn mind works. Yet you couldn't help but feel sympathetic. You always liked to believe that he is not a bad person. But all his impressions were horrible, to begin with. Then again there's a saying "Don't judge a book by its cover." You weren't trying to judge him but as a matter of fact, you knew that he won't answer anything, even if you ask. Though, it was worth a try.
"Jimin-ssi are you alright?" You asked carefully. A talk with Jimin always screams danger.
"No, I'm not. Satisfied now?" He didn't bother hiding his sharp tone which made you flinch. But his bluntness caught you off guard.
"That's not what I meant...You know that very well..."
"That doesn't make any difference. You hate me too, don't you?"
You didn't know what to say. Was he being sarcastic? Your tongue was tied once again. You won't exactly say that you hate him because you don't. But it's also true that you dislike him.
"No answer? So do you like me?"
"Umm...I—
" See? That's why said it doesn't make any difference. If you hate someone then you shouldn't give a f*ck about them."
"But I don't hate you Jimin-ssi!"
That made him stop in his tracks. "What...did you just say?"
You sighed and took his hand in yours "I don't hate you— none of us does. Yeah, it's true most of the time we get annoyed. But we never hated you, not even once!"
It was his time to get speechless. But the silence wasn't awkward anymore. He didn't answer but continued walking with you. No one was going to complain about the way he was still holding your hand. You weren't going to say anything about this. Poor guy will be too embarrassed.
Roaming around the building was dangerous but you had no other choice. According to Jimin and Yoongi, the rules changed. All of you have to play a haunted ritual to return. 8 people and 8 rituals... They already sounded too risky but what other choice did you have? Nothing. The situation with the doppelgangers wasn't helping at all. If you stay here for too long then you die. Either way, you have to do something quickly. Even the arguments died down. If it wasn't for Jimin's hand in yours you would've flipped.
Jungkook felt the same way. He was barely keeping himself together. But at least he was managing thanks to Yoongi.
The same thing can be said for Taehyung and Hoseok. Everyone was so stressed that no words can describe just what kind of emotions they were feeling. You, yourself didn't know. You still felt like it was just a nightmare and you will wake up from it soon. But...deep down you knew this was too real to be a dream. Unknowingly you inched closer to Jimin. It was just a slight movement but he still noticed. Even though he noticed he decided not to say anything about it.
"We can't stay here forever..." Hoseok huffed
"Guys, We can go to Yoongi Doppleganger's house," Yoongi said.
"WHAT?!"
All of you gave him a bewildered look. Just what was he thinking?!
"Geez, stop giving me that look. I overheard the doppelgangers and they said Yoongi doppelganger doesn't live here. We don't have any other choice.
" I hate to admit it... but he is right..." Namjoon sighed
"Well, we will die either way so let's just choose the safer option." Jungkook didn't bother hiding his annoyance. Well, looks like you just have to push through it.
That's exactly how all of you ended up in Yoongi doppelganger's house. The house exactly looked like human Yoongi's. Strangely enough, there was food stacked there as well. How in the world there were foods and medicines? None of them was date expired! You were speechless. The others were in awe. Everything was so suspicious but just like Yoongi and Namjoon said "there's no other choice." Everyone was too scared to stay alone in a room which means you will have to share. But you are a female! Well... looks like you will have to suck it up and choose a roommate. Gosh, so embarrassing. In the end, Namjoon ended up dragging Hoseok with him. Jimin was off with Yoongi while Jungkook and Taehyung stayed together, leaving you with Seokjin. Hopefully, you can trust Seokjin. He smiled and mouthed "It's okay, we will manage."
This guy...always so kind. How will you repay his kindness? When you asked him that he just laughed it off and told you not to worry about it. You followed him inside a room, shutting the door behind you. Well, as long as all of you are together you will manage.
